A location prank that stays a prank
LocationPrank was built to make a shareable joke without turning the joke into tracking, permission harvesting, or a fake emergency.
Why this tool exists
Many location prank results mix three different things: sharing a map pin, changing a device's GPS data, and secretly collecting information from the person who opens a link. LocationPrank chooses the simplest and safest version. The creator selects a fictional destination, the viewer sees a short simulation, and the page reveals the joke.
The link does not identify where the viewer is. It does not request GPS, camera, microphone, contact, notification, or motion permissions. The prank configuration exists only so the generated URL can show the creator's chosen place and message.
Independent project
LocationPrank is an independent web experiment built around a useful tool and a small editorial library. It combines a fictional phone locator with practical guidance about the difference between a harmless joke and real tracking.
What we publish
Our guides explain what a prank link can and cannot do, how this locator differs from GPS spoofing, and how to keep jokes harmless. We do not publish instructions for hidden surveillance, phishing, device compromise, or bypassing consent.
